Kruger National Park is Africa's most famous game reserve — 19,485 km² of pristine South African bushveld containing some of the continent's highest concentrations of wildlife, including 1,500 lions, 1,000 leopards, 11,000 elephants, 5,000 rhinos and 40,000 buffalo.

Unlike many East African safari destinations, Kruger is unique in offering night game drives, guided walking safaris, and intimate private concession areas where off-road driving is permitted. The combination makes for an incomparably complete safari experience.

Day 1

Johannesburg to Kruger Lowveld

Fly or drive from Johannesburg to the Kruger lowveld (Hoedspruit or Phalaborwa). Transfer to your private bush lodge. Afternoon game drive. Boma dinner under the stars. Overnight at lodge.

Day 2

Full Day Big Five Safari

Morning and afternoon game drives with your dedicated guide and tracker. The Satara and Orpen regions are famous for lion prides. Leopards rest in the sausage trees; rhinos patrol the riverbeds; elephant herds move to the water. Night game drive. Overnight at lodge.

Day 3

Walking Safari & Predator Tracking

Morning 3-hour guided bush walk with an armed Field Guide — the most intimate way to experience Africa. Read tracks, identify insects and plants, and feel the vulnerability of being on foot in big-game country. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at lodge.

Day 4

Full Day Deep Kruger Exploration

Full day deep into the park's central and southern zones. Target sightings: leopard, wild dog (rare and electrifying), cheetah and white rhino. Sundowner in the bush with local snacks and drinks. Overnight at lodge.

Sunrise Drive & Departure

Final sunrise game drive at first light — the golden hour when predators are still active. Brunch. Transfer to Hoedspruit or Phalaborwa airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
