The Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations — a vast golden savannah teeming with lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo and over 450 species of birds.
From July to October, witness the legendary Great Migration as 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle thunder across the Mara River in one of nature's most spectacular events. But even outside migration season, the Mara delivers extraordinary game viewing year-round.
Fly into Nairobi (NBO). Levine Adventures representative meets you at the airport. Road or light aircraft transfer to the Maasai Mara (approx. 5–6 hrs by road or 45 min by air). Check into camp, afternoon game drive. Welcome dinner. Overnight at tented camp.
Rise before dawn for a sunrise game drive. The Mara is most active at first light. Spend the full day tracking lions, elephants, leopards and cheetahs. Visit the Mara River for hippo spotting. Return to camp for sundowners. Overnight at camp.
Head to the Mara River crossing points for a chance to witness wildebeest migration (Jul–Oct). Afternoon visit to a traditional Maasai village — learn about their culture and way of life. Evening campfire under the stars. Overnight at camp.
Optional: hot air balloon safari at dawn over the Mara — one of the world's truly great travel experiences (additional cost). Full-day game drive. Farewell dinner. Overnight at camp.
Final morning game drive. Transfer back to Nairobi. Drop off at airport for onward flight or Nairobi city hotel.
