Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest protected area at 3,893 km², bisected by the mighty Victoria Nile as it charges northward toward Lake Albert.
The park's centrepiece is Murchison Falls itself — where the entire Nile is forced through a 7-metre-wide gorge, creating the most powerful waterfall on earth. The roar can be heard from kilometres away.
This 3-day itinerary includes a Nile launch trip to the base of the falls, Big Five game drives on the northern bank, and a drive through the verdant Budongo Forest on the way back to Kampala.

Final morning game drive. Breakfast. Drive back to Kampala via Budongo Forest (optional chimp walk for additional fee). Arrive Kampala late afternoon.
